Education Programs

We have produced two educational programs for you to use. The first covers Caries Diagnosis, Risk Assessment and Management. Click the link below to start the program.

Caries Diagnosis, Risk Assessment, and Management Protocols

The second education program is an extensive group of instructions for clinical staff on Oral Health and Tobacco Cessation.

This training program is designed for primary health care providers, including physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals. It can be also used by other health care providers who are interested in learning more about oral health and tobacco cessation.

This program will provide health care providers with the knowledge and skills necessary to:

  • screen for and prevent dental caries or tooth decay,
  • screen for and prevent periodontal or gum diseases,
  • screen for and prevent oral and pharyngeal cancer,
  • identify tobacco uses and provide tobacco cessation counseling.
